Refund Policy

At Isobel Ward Fine Artist, each artwork is created with great care and attention to detail. Because of the unique nature of original artworks, fine art prints, and commissioned pieces, we kindly ask that you read this Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Original Paintings

  • All sales of original artworks are final.

  • Refunds or exchanges are not available unless the artwork arrives significantly damaged in transit.

  • If damage occurs, please contact us within 5 days of delivery with clear photographs of the packaging and artwork.

2. Fine Art Prints

  • Prints are non-refundable once purchased.

  • If your print arrives damaged or defective, please notify us within 5 days of receipt, and we will arrange a replacement or, if unavailable, a refund.

  • Minor variations in color or appearance between the on-screen image and the actual print are not grounds for a refund.

3. Commissioned Artwork

  • A non-refundable deposit (usually 25%) is required to secure a commission.

  • If the client cancels after work has begun, the deposit will be retained, and additional charges may apply depending on the stage of completion.

  • The final balance is due before delivery. Once the artwork is approved and shipped, no refunds or returns will be accepted.

  • If the artist is unable to complete a commission due to unforeseen circumstances, the client will receive a full refund, including the deposit.

4. Shipping Damage and Issues

  • Please inspect your order upon delivery. If items are damaged, defective, or incorrect, notify us within 5 days with photos of the packaging and item.

  • We will offer a replacement if possible or a refund if the item cannot be replaced.

  • The artist is not responsible for delays, customs fees, or damage caused after successful delivery.

5. Refund Process

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 10 business days.

  • Timeframes for funds to appear may vary depending on your payment provider.
